New Senior Directors Appointed at the Diamond State Port Corporation

 

Mr. R. Adam McBride, Executive Director of the Diamond State Port Corporation is pleased to announce two senior appointments within the Diamond State Port Corporation.  Effective March 5th 2001, Mr. Michael Sprague will assume the position of Director of Planning and Development and Mr. John Reece will take on the duties of Director of Engineering and Maintenance. 

 

Mr. Sprague, who joined the Corporation in 1997, will have responsibility for major construction projects, new infrastructure development, dredging and disposal issues, future capital planning and governmental relations. 

 Mr. Reece, who joined the Corporation in 1996, takes on responsibility for the monitoring, maintaining, re-building, restoration, inspection and maximum operational 

efficiency of the Corporation’s substantial investment in refrigerated warehouses, gantry cranes, mobile equipment, dock, warehouses and infrastructure. 

 

“These two professional engineers bring a level of commitment, knowledge, experience that will leave Port users, workers and managers confident in the design and development of new facilities as well as the utility and maintenance of all Port facilities”, said Mr. McBride.
