Karen C. Bifferato, Esq. Joins The DSPC Board of Directors

Wilmington, Del., July 18, 2007 The Diamond State Port Corporation (DSPC) has recently welcomed a new member to its Board of Directors – Delaware Attorney Karen Bifferato.
 

Ms. Bifferato is a partner in the Business Law Group and a member of the Hiring Committee of the Wilmington based law firm Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz LLP. She has been admitted to the Delaware Bar and that of the U.S. District Court, District of Delaware. Ms. Bifferato is active in numerous professional associations including the American Bankruptcy Institute, American Bar Association, Delaware State Bar Association, and the Tenant-in-Common Association.

“I am very pleased to welcome Ms. Bifferato to the DSPC Board,” said DSPC Executive Director, Gene Bailey. “With her many years of corporate business experience and a unique Delaware corporate legal perspective, I look forward to her being an active contributor to our Board as we approach the challenges of continuing to grow the Port in today’s competitive environment,” added Bailey.

Ms. Bifferato graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Carolina State University, earning a B.A. in Political Science. She also holds a J.D. from The College of William & Mary’s Marshall-Wythe School of Law where she served on the Law Review.
