Auto & RoRo Berth

The Port of Wilmington's dedicated Auto & RoRo Berth on the Delaware River was inaugurated on September 12, 2002.

The berth is located 900 feet off shore, measures 875 feet long, 115 feet wide, has 38-feet of water depth alongside.

In spring 2010, the Port installed a mooring dolphin enabling the docking of vessels up to 750 ft in length.

A 1.2 mile dedicated roadway connects the berth to secure vehicle processing and storage facilities on and off the Port.

The berth is also the closest automobile berth to the Atlantic Ocean and to major interstate highway systems.
